Task overview

Research, brainstorm, produce, edit and promote content on the AMZ Carpentry Facebook page. The page should act as a portfolio of work and raise awareness of the business.

At this point in time the company has consistent and ongoing work, therefore the aim of the page is to showcase work and promote services; while increasing new projects is less important.

 

My role

The owner of the business likes to be hands on and posts most of the content on the page. My role is to edit his content as well as suggest and produce content ideas. When it comes to promoting posts, it is my task to target the posts to the appropriate audience. I also analyse and monitor posts using Facebook Insights.

 

Results

AMZ Carpentry is slowly building its following and have had people messaging the page for quotes despite increasing new projects not being its purpose. We are constantly re-evaluating our understanding of our target audience, the types of people who are engaging with our content and the types of content that produce the most engagement by using Facebook Insights. When the company does decide to no longer subcontract and grow their own clientele the Facebook page will be appropriately established.
